Our beachfront condo is in the perfect location for a quiet retreat or a variety of fun-filled activities for individuals, couples, and families.
We are steps away from newly restored Carolina Beach (beach re-nourishment project completed near our property), a popular beach for surfers, where you can enjoy sitting or playing on the beach, swimming, people watching, shelling, fishing from the beach or pier, windsurfing, parasailing, snorkeling, water-skiing, jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, etc., easily booking a local tour or renting whatever gear and equipment you want from a local shop.
We are just a fifteen minute walk from restaurants, nightlife, and the historic Carolina Beach boardwalk, named one of the TOP 10 BOARDWALKS in America according to Food & Wine magazine, with fireworks every Thursday night, rides, miniature golf, arcade games, and concerts from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Take a twenty minute walk along the beach to the fishing pier.
Take a short walk to the canal or the lake with free outdoor movies on Sunday nights, and visit the local farmers market. Take a short drive to play golf, tennis, or visit the state parks, NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the Battleship North Carolina moored in Wilmington (across the river from downtown Wilmington), the Historic Fort Fisher Museum (a Civil War Fort - site of the largest amphibious battle - where you can enjoy the exhibits and re-enactments on land, and dive to explore more wreckage).
